Privacy policy

Effective date: August 21, 2026

This agreement is with Fervo LLC ("Fervo", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect through the Fervo ticketing platform and fervopass.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

  • Buyer information. When you buy a ticket, we collect your email address (required) and, optionally, your name and phone number. We also record order details: event, ticket type, amount, confirmation number, and your tickets' QR codes.
  • Payment information. Card payments are processed by Stripe. We receive and store limited payment metadata (for example, the last four digits of a card, postal code, billing country, and fraud-scoring signals from Stripe Radar). We do not store full card numbers.
  • Check-in information. When a ticket is scanned at a door, we log the scan: which ticket, which door/session, when, and by which staff device. This is how organizers know who is in the building.
  • Organizer and staff information. For people running events, we collect work contact details, Stripe Connect account references, and app usage needed to run the door (device identifiers, sync state).
  • Technical information. IP address, browser/app type, and pages or screens used, kept for security, debugging, and preventing ticket fraud.

2. How we use it

  • Deliver tickets, confirmations, and login codes by email.
  • Let organizers check you in at the door and manage guest lists.
  • Process payments and refunds through Stripe.
  • Prevent fraud and abuse (duplicate scans, resold tickets, chargeback abuse).
  • With your consent where required, tell you about upcoming events from organizers you bought from. You can opt out at any time.

3. Who we share it with

  • Stripe. Payment processing, fraud prevention, refunds, disputes.
  • The event's organizer. Your name (if given), email, phone (if given), ticket status, and check-in status, so they can run their event and contact ticket holders about it.
  • Service providers that operate parts of our stack under contract: email delivery, error monitoring (Sentry), real-time messaging, cloud hosting and backups.
  • Cloudflare. Serves and protects this website, and provides the cookieless page-performance analytics described below.
  • Marketing tools. Where an organizer uses them and law allows, purchase events may be shared with marketing platforms (such as Klaviyo or Meta) so organizers can reach their own audiences. This is done on behalf of the organizer, not to advertise Fervo itself.
  • Legal processes. When required by law, subpoena, or to protect someone's safety or our rights.

4. Cookies and tracking

fervopass.com sets no cookies and runs no advertising or cross-site tracking. It does use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures page views and page performance. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless, does not fingerprint visitors, does not follow you to other sites, and is not used for advertising. Because it sets no cookies and collects no personal information, it does not require a consent banner.

The ticketing product uses only storage strictly necessary to function, for example keeping you signed in between screens.

5. Data retention

Order and check-in records are kept as long as needed for tax, accounting, dispute, and fraud purposes. Login codes expire within minutes. You can ask us to delete your account data; records we must keep for legal reasons are minimized instead.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or limit certain uses. To exercise any of these, email info@fervopass.com. We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. If you are in the EEA/UK and believe we mishandled your data, you may complain to your data protection authority; if in a US state with its own privacy law, to your state attorney general.

7. Security

We use HTTPS everywhere, passwordless email-code sign-in, scoped staff permissions, and encrypted backups. No system is perfect; if you believe your data has been misused, contact us at info@fervopass.com.

8. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where local law requires), and we do not knowingly collect their data. Organizers are responsible for their venue's age policies.

9. Changes

If we change this policy materially, we will post the new version here with a new effective date and, where required, notify affected users directly.
